Travis Varner of NC Trees and More cut two large oak trees and several small cedars in our backyard last week. Travis answered our call and promptly set a firm date to do the work. He began and finished the work as agreed. The trees were next to a fence that joins our neighbors on one side and our house on another. Since it was not practical to use a crane in this tight spot, Travis climbed the huge oaks to remove them. He demonstrated exceptional skill in both climbing and cutting the trees. He practiced appropriate safety measures when working in the trees and took similar care of his crew below. Limbs and trunks were carefully tied before they were cut, and each was placed on the ground with such precision that it did not come near the fence nor our house. The crew on the ground constantly removed debris from the work area. When the trees were down, the crew cleaned the backyard and left it in good condition.
